Week 5 Vocabulary Paragraph

There are a lot of authors out there making good books to rea for adults, youth, infants, and elders. I have read an estimated 30 books fully. Books also need illustrators in order to add pictures and more detail to their books. Authors need to be in a positive mood if they want to write an interesting book. It could take years in order just to finish one long chapter book like the harry potter series.

Week 5 Vocabulary Definitons and Examples

Illustrate- To furnish with drawing, pictures, or other artowrk intended for explanation.
Ex: Illustrate - She illustrated a children's book about the effects of smoking on your lungs.

Estimate - To form an approximate judgment or opinion regarding the worth, amount, size, weight,  etc.
Ex: Estimate - I had to get an estimate of how much it was going to cost me to fix my car before I had the work done.
Positive- explicitly stated, stipulated, or expressed.
Ex: . Positive - I am determined to have a positive attitude today - so don't make me mad! :)

Week 6 Grades

1) My grade is about 90 percent for language arts block 1, and about 40 percent fro math.

2) I have 5 missing assignments in block 1.

3) I am satisfied with my grade for the language arts for block 1, but i am not satisfied with my grade for the algebra 1 for block because it is very low and i know i can do better.

4) I could improve these grades by paying more attention in class and make sure i do all my assignment in class so that i don't have anymore missing assignments.

In class today i had to consrtuct an idea for my narrative essay. It is very difficult to do, but if i put potential into it then i know i can do it. The class has to write a significant pages of paragraphs. Some are not really good at doing that. We also have to  identify the amount of punctuations we make in each paragraph.

I need to focus more in class due to the report card i got which was all F's. It's hard, but i know i can do it cause i have great potential in myself. I just need to find the appropriate friends to be hanging with too. Most of my friends are into doing the harsher drugs which i never liked. I always consist to them that it's very bad and it affect their health, and their performance in class.
