Week 8 Vocabulary Definitons & Examples

1) Impose (verb)-to lay on or set as something to be borne, endured, obeyed, fulfilled, paid, etc.
Ex. I think I will impose a new rule in the classroom - every time you cuss, you owe Julianna 25 cents. I think she will become rich quickly.
2) Integrate (verb)-to bring together or incorporate (parts) into a whole.
Ex. At the beginning of this quarter, we integrated Ms. S's class and Mr. Davis's class to become UMOJA.
3) Predict (verb)-to declare or tell in advance; prophesy; foretell.
Ex. I predict that the weather in San Diego will be nicer than the weather in Seattle next week!
