Week 8 Vocabulary Sentences
1) Impose- Ms.S imposed a new rule of not walking out of class anymore.
I wanted to impose him of the crime, but i did not have evidence to shoe the police.

10 Myths About Immigration
1. Most immigrants are here illegally.
Of the 30 million people born in foregin countries, 20 million were legal citizens
2. It's just as easy to enter the country legally today as it was when my ancestors arrived.
For the first 100 years, the U.S had an "open immigration system that allowed any able body immigrant in.
3. There’s a way to enter the country legally for anyone who wants to get in line.
There is no "line", the U.S takes only people that have special skills.
4. My ancestors learned English, but today’s immigrants refuse.
Earlier immigrants held on to their culture fiercly.
5. Today’s immigrants don’t want to blend in and become “Americanized.”
In 2010, there were 500,000 immigrants that became natural americans.
6. Immigrants take good jobs from Americans.
A better education has resulted in less people willing to take jobs that need no skill.
